Since the most influential teachers in my life were the ones who encouraged me on an individual level and took a personal interest in my studies, that is how I also choose to work with students during my tutoring sessions. My goals are to provide the best quality of tutoring that I can and to develop a personal connection to the student. I believe that this style of teaching helps to create a motivating learning environment and enhances the ability of the student to think critically, which is key for a student to be able to progress from a great student to an exceptional student. I provide the student with a base foundation of knowledge that can be built upon through critical thinking skills. I strive to create a learning environment that builds confidence and encourages learning. I am firm in my teaching, but also strive to be a part of the student's learning support system. I have a variety of different teaching experiences, including working as a dance teacher, choreographer, and working as a tutor to my fellow classmates in high school. I find enjoyment in working with students of any age, and my diverse background has given me the ability to adjust my teaching to new students.
