HobbiesI love tutoring, as it allows me to work one-on-one with students and really mold the concepts to fit their needs. I believe that practicing a subject will make a student learn it more effectively, so I often bring extra practice problems and conceptual problems to a tutoring session. I am also happy to talk through concepts and class notes if a student finds that having an active conversation is an effective way for them to learn.
In my free time, I love being active, eating lots of ice cream, and playing with my cats!

Amy is literally the best tutor anyone can dream to have. She tutored me in general chemistry during my first year at Cornell, and I can honestly say I would have failed or dropped out if it wasn't for her. When she explains problems she is very clear. She is the smartest person I know and I wish she was my chemistry professor. Amy is the nicest, funniest person you will meet and she really makes you feel comfortable when you're practicing chemistry with her. 10/10 the best tutor I could have asked for!
Amy was my chemistry tutor throughout my entire freshman year at Cornell. She is an amazing tutor and I don't know what I would've done without her. Also extremely helpful with lab reports!
Amy responded quickly to my email. We established a connection via phone and easily made a regular appointment for my daughter. She came to our home, on time, and jumped right in to the tutoring project with my daughter. She is personable and extremely dedicated and knowledgable. She's a wonderful tutor!
